TES July 7 2005 Ozone in ppb in the Upper Troposphere

Work performed in our group is centered on TES, the Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer experiment on the EOS-Aura satellite. TES is an infrared Fourier Transform Spectrometer designed to make global measurements of tropospheric ozone and its chemical precursors.

We have expertise in spectrometer design and calibration, atmospheric radiative transfer models, including clouds and aerosols, retrievals of atmospheric state parameters from remotely sensed data, and data assimilation in global chemistry models.
