The Airborne Multiangle SpectroPolarimetric Imager (AirMSPI) instrument flies aboard NASA's ER-2 high altitude aircraft as a technology testbed for next generation satellite instrumentation and also as a scientific resource for aerosol, cloud, and surface studies.
