Joseph Simon

Joseph Simon recently earned his PhD in Physics at the Leonard E. Parker Center for Gravitation, Cosmology, and Astrophysics at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. His dissertation focused on creating an observational-based simulation framework to explore the link between pulsar timing array data and binary supermassive black holes. Joe is a full member of the NANOGrav collaboration, where his research has played a crucial role in the astrophysical interpretation of recent pulsar timing array measurements. In addition to research, Joe is active in outreach both through NANOGrav and on his own. He received his bachelors degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
