Dr. Elias C. Massoud

Joined the Regional Climate Modeling Evaluation System (RCMES) group to develop a National Climate Assessment (NCA) of the Western United States water cycle. Research questions that we are addressing pertain to droughts and floods, specifically trying to answer how do we get there and how do we get out, can we predict such events, and which models and data provide the necessary tools to properly forecast Seasonal to sub-seasonal (S2S) climate trends as well as project trends into the next century under a changing climate.
