Simona Mei

Simona Mei is a professor at the University of Paris Denis Diderot and works with Dr. Charles Lawrence on the infrared and optical follow-up of Planck detected galaxy clusters.


Education
  • 2005 HDR University of Paris Denis Diderot French thesis that gives the right to supervise PhD students.
  • 1999 PhD in Astrophysics – University of Strasbourg, European Southern Observatory

Research Interests
  • Observational Cosmology - Large scale structure of the Universe – Galaxy clusters
  • Galaxy formation and evolution – Stellar population - Environmental effects – Baryon cycle
