Sea Level And Ice

JPL Postdoctoral Fellow

Biography

My research focuses on modeling Greenland glaciers to better understand changes in Greenland and estimate the ice sheet contribution to sea level in the future. I am interested in understanding ice-ocean interactions and related processes by combining remote sensing data with numerical modeling.

Education

  • Ph.D. Earth System Science, University of California, Irvine
  • M.S. Energy Resources Engineering, Seoul National University
  • B.S. Civil, Urban, and Geosystem Engineering, Seoul National University

Research Interests

  • Ice sheet contribution to sea level rise
  • Ice-ocean interactions
  • Ice sheet numerical modeling

Selected Awards

  • NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship (NESSF) Program (2017)
