Dr. Bruno Aragon is an Environmental engineer with a focus on estimating evapotranspiration at high spatiotemporal resolutions. Bruno joined JPL as a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow working with Dr. Joshua Fisher. Bruno’s research aims to 1) better understand the response of ecosystem’s to water availability at high spatiotemporal resolutions, 2) establish a link between evapotranspiration, ecology and biology, and 3) identify ecosystem vulnerabilities and responses to a changing environment. A core component of the research is to fuse data from commercial and government Earth observation missions such as ECOSTRESS, Sentinel-2, Landsat 8, and Planet/MAXAR.
