Pasadena, CA 91109Ryohei (he/him/his) received his Bachelor of Science in Physics at Osaka University in 2014, Master’s degree of Science in Physics at the University of Tokyo in 2016, and Ph.D. degree of Science in Physics at the University of Tokyo in 2019. He worked as a Special Postdoctoral Researcher from 2019-2022 at RIKEN, Japan.
Ryohei has been working mainly on photoevaporation of protoplanetary disks by developing his radiation hydrodynamics code. Using the computational technique, he extended his research area to photoevaporation of molecular clouds and galactic minihalos. He also worked on an observational study of a protostar (L1527) using ALMA and VLA and a laboratory-experimental study of molecular line emissions at the previous institute (RIKEN). He has experienced skills in developing codes, applications, and data-analyzing tools.
