Linus began as a chemist before moving into theoretical physics and ultimately cosmology. In a way, his path mirrors the Universe itself: starting at quantum scales and gradually expanding to extragalactic dimensions.
He is fascinated by the nature of dark energy and worked on possible explanations during his PhD. What if Einstein’s theory of gravity is modified on the largest scales of the Universe but we never noticed it because we are shielded from it in our Solar System? To investigate these questions, he is involved in ESA’s Euclid consortium and is excited to work with Roman data to deepen our understanding of the Universe’s evolution.
