Dr. Riley DeColibus is a NASA Postdoctoral Program fellow at JPL, studying the surface composition of bodies in the outer Solar System. Her research focuses on the icy moons of the giant planets, particularly Uranus. She has experience in observational astronomy and the use of ground-based telescopes for planetary science studies, including reflectance spectroscopy and stellar occultations, and the role that observational astronomy can play to support mission operations. She is also interested in developing her skills to work with spacecraft datasets and potentially getting involved with missions like Europa Clipper and a potential future Uranus mission.
