Biography

Diana grew up in Ercolano, at the western foot of Mount Vesuvius, on the Bay of Naples, Italy. She studied in Italy, Russia and Germany. She is an observational cosmologist interested both in understanding the dark matter in the universe using the weak gravitational lensing and spectroscopically studying the most massive and compact galaxies in the Universe, their intriguing formation and cosmic evolution. For her research, she uses both real data and simulations.
