SuperSpec is a wideband millimeter-wave on-chip spectrometer a lithographically-patterned superconducting filterbank and kinetic inductance detectors. SuperSpec enables multi-object spectroscopy in the millimeter band. A 6-chip demonstration instrument covering the 200-300 GHz band is being prepared for use at the Large Millimeter Telescope (LMT) in late 2021. A longer term goal for SuperSpec is many-pixel imaging spectroscopy to enable millimeter-wave line intensity mapping to target the epoch of reionization.
