Biography

Dr. Alina Kiessling’s background is focused on investigating dark matter and dark energy through weak lensing analysis of N-body simulations. She is PI of the NASA OpenUniverse effort that is coordinating and serving cosmological simulations across the Roman, Euclid, and Rubin missions. She was the Deputy Study Scientist on the Habitable Exoplanet Observatory (HabEx) concept and is currently on the science team for the Habitable Worlds Observatory. In addition, she is the Project Manager for the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) mission.
