Biography

I’m an astronomer with an interest in star formation. In my research, I have worked and observed with a number of telescopes on the ground and in space, most recently the Hubble Space Telescope and now the James Webb Space Telescope.

Education

I studied at the University of Toledo and graduated with a PhD in physics with a focus on astronomy this past July Before this, I studied at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Physics and Mathematics.

Professional Experience

Postdoc at the SOFIA Science Center through USRA and NASA Ames.

Research Interests

Star formation, planet formation, the interstellar medium, stellar populations, infrared (from the near- to far-infrared) imaging and spectroscopy.
