Ed is a postdoctoral researcher at JPL. He is involved in the science surrounding the remote sensing of Greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as methane and carbon dioxide. He is currently focusing on maximizing the information available from trace gas retrievals by combining measurements from US and European satellites such as CrIS and Sentinel 5P/TROPOMI.
Ed is also involved in the ESA-NASA Methane Arctic Permafrost Challenge, a joint effort to better understand methane emissions from the Arctic Permafrost.
