Dr. Herman is Principal Investigator of the JPL Laser Hygrometers for both NASA and non-NASA customers. He applies infrared spectroscopy to study atmospheric water and water isotopologues, clouds, climate, and their interactions - both through remote sensing and in-situ measurements. He has experience with experiments on aircraft, untethered balloons, and Uninhabited Aerial Systems (UASs), as well as geophysical/atmospheric satellite validation.
